A modern specialization that has been approved starting from the academic year 2009/2010 This specialization is only available in the Ummah College, with a rate of 73 credit hours. This specialization aims to supply the Palestinian labor market with specialized cadres qualified to engage in working life, after the student / student acquires modern skills and technologies in the following areas :
Computer networks operating systems The student will be able to build, install and program computer networks and their equipment. As well as maintaining and managing networks using different operating systems such as: Linux and Win Server.
• Website design The student acquires all the skills necessary to design static and interactive websites with different designs and applications and the latest available programs.
• Multimedia The student is able to produce works and projects in the fields of graphic design, advertising, editing, media industry and sound engineering.
• databases, software engineering and programming languages, in which the student learns to design, build and manage databases using Access and SQL Server software, in addition to programming using the latest programming languages ​​and applying software engineering techniques.
• Maintenance of computers and their equipment. The student becomes able to maintain a computer programmatically and physically, and the ability to identify problems in the computer and address them.
• This specialization provides an opportunity for field training to get acquainted with the reality of using computers in the field, and the possibility of interacting with local institutions that provide job opportunities for students after graduation, in various fields, including:
• – Software development companies, web pages, and educational software production. – Commercial computer centers – Computer centers in large private companies such as: universities and companies, banks and
Factories. Computer centers in public institutions such as: ministries and hospitals. Management of computer networks in public and private institutions.
